Billy Peters - Lead Guitarist with Internationally Renowned Showband The Maori Volcanics
Billy Peters has been playing guitar professionally for nearly 40 years, he has toured through 60 countries and played with some of the biggest names in the industry, both here and internationally. Billy has been the lead guitarist in many bands covering many styles of music throughout his career and has been the lead guitarist in the Maori Volcanics Showband since the early 70's. He has supported and played with many artists including Slim Dusty, Reg Lindsay, Troy Cassar-Daley, Trini Lopez, Angelbert Humperdink, Tom Jones and was invited to play a special performance with the horn section from Count Bassey's band, just to name a few. The Maori Volcanics are the longest running and one of the greatest of all of the Maori Showbands.
Billy says that he has played all the big brand name guitars but has chosen to endorse DreamTone guitars because he believes that everything is right about them, "They look good, they have a fantastic tone and they just feel so good to play and at a price that is unbelievably low".

Whilst on the heavier side of what I usually listen to, Black Catapult have made a fan out of me, and I think this is largely due to their ability to ensure the rampaging drums played by Peter Hart donít drown out the vocals of lead singer David Reynolds. In fact Reynolds vocals also deserve a special mention as they are actually enjoyable to listen to, compared to a lot of rock bands where the music is awesome, but the vocals let them down Ė a problem The Black Catapult donít have.
